“The starting point for me. Originally, I sent it to John at Type Records, who passed it on to Monika who ran Lampse Audiovisual Recordings, and who apparently fell in love with it. I clearly had no idea what I was doing, and I hadn’t really figured out the dramaturgy of music yet. The bird sounds at the end of the last track is actually from a pause screen from a video game that I recorded by miking up the TV speakers.”
