“I met Erik, who runs Miasmah, around 2005 and started going to Oslo for Miasmah label nights. It was a great time, and a great sense of community amongst our little group of geeks and weirdos. This was the first album where I fully used a computer to record and edit my music, and I can hear this all over the recordings. New possibilities, but also a whole new way of approaching recording and editing. I wanted to make an album that felt like one continuous piece of music, more like a state in time than actual tracks. I still think it holds up well, despite some flaws.”
