“Originally, the saxophone solo on Come Silence sounded completely different. Lisen had sent me a few different takes, and I had combined a few of them, adding effects and some sound design to it. But after I had actually sent it off for mastering, I just felt it was too busy. So I pulled it back and stripped it down, taking out all the effects and leaving it just dry and up close. And I’m really happy I did. I’m forever in debt to Lisen for her contribution to this.”
