“This was our first film score job as a duo. At an early stage of the writing process, someone suggested we make it klezmer-sounding to go with the film’s setting. I was against this as I’ve always felt this is a story about a father fighting for the right to care for his own child. And to me, that’s universal and not connected to culture or religion. I’m forever grateful to The Blair Brothers for putting the soundtrack out there on Wayfind Records!”
